Ginebra will head into the PBA break for Gilas with more optimism as it snares a hard-fought third win against Phoenix in the Season 50 Philippine Cup.
Ginebra hung tough in crunch time to clip Phoenix, 102-93, in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion Sunday, Nov. 16.
The Gin Kings bounced back from a frustrating loss to Converge and remained in the playoff picture with their 3-4 mark.

With Ginebra’s win, pacesetting Rain or Shine and NLEX gained a quarterfinal berth, according to league chief statistician Fidel Mangonon.
From a rousing win against Terrafirma the last time out, Phoenix dove to a 2-6 record.
Save for Gilas pool members Scottie Thompson and RJ Abarrientos, the Gin Kings will now take a much-needed respite before returning on Dec. 10 to face Blackwater.
The match tees off at 7:30 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
