Rookie Juan Gomez de Liano leads the way for Converge once again as it catches a big fish in Ginebra in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
Save for a third quarter glitch, there was no signal disruption for Converge as it bested Ginebra, 106-96, in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Friday, Nov. 14.
Rookie Juan Gomez de Liano led the way once again, erupting for 32 points.
The FiberXers thus scored back-to-back wins to improve to a 5-2 record to crowd the second spot with Magnolia, San Miguel, NLEX and Rain or Shine.
The Gin Kings could not make the most of their lengthy break, dropping to 2-4.
