San Miguel recovered from being down by as many as 12 points in the first half and went on to douse Converge's hot start to the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
San Miguel reminded early favorite Converge that it is the defending champion, as it prevailed, 96-90, in their PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup duel at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Sunday, Nov. 2.
The Beermen thus followed up on their Dubai victory over fan favorite Ginebra last week, stretching their streak to three after a dismal 0-2 start to the All-Filipino Conference.

The FiberXers, coming off back-to-back wins as part of the early league leaders, could not sustain their strong start and absorbed their second loss in five matches.
The June Mar Fajardo-led San Miguel will gun for a fourth straight win when it tackles Magnolia, on top with NLEX, Rain or Shine and TNT with their identical 4-1 marks, Friday, Nov. 7.
The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Ynares Center in Montalban.

He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
