TNT revved it up in the second half to complete their come-from-behind victory against Meralco in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Wednesday, Oct. 29.
TNT refused to quit and slowly clawed back from a double-digit deficit to snatch the 100-98 win over Meralco in overtime in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Tropang 5G leaned on Rey Nambatac, who steeled himself as he drilled in the game-winning jumper with just a second left.
TNT trailed for the most part but once it got its bearings going in the second half, it kept fighting to secure its fourth win against a sole loss.
The team thus rejoined NLEX, which earlier beat Blackwater, at the top spot as they share identical win-loss records.
Meanwhile, the Bolts dropped to 3-4 before returning to the EASL, where they will play four games in a month.
