JB Bahio is hailed back-to-back Player of the Game for NLEX, which beat Blackwater in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Sick and all, JB Bahio sustained his impressive play for NLEX Wednesday night, Oct. 29.
Bahio was hailed back-to-back Player of the Game for the Road Warriors, who picked up a third straight win at the expense of Blackwater, 99-88, in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Lord na kahit may lagnat, nakalaro pa rin ako,” said Bahio.
“At sa mga doctors namin sa team, sa mga PT namin, kay coach na nag-mo-monitor sa'kin kagabi pa.”

Bahio, though, did not look like he was feeling under the weather after churning out a career-high 23 points he laced with six rebounds and two assists for NLEX, which momentarily held the solo top spot with its 4-1 mark.
TNT rejoined the Road Warriors later after besting Meralco, 100-98, later in the night.

Robert Bolick turned in 15 points, five rebounds, 12 assists, and a steal for the Road Warriors, while Alas wound up with 13 points.
“Composed lang kami. Ginawa lang namin ang mga plays namin, mga tamang plays. Hindi kami nagmamadali [sa] ikot ng bola [at] mga point of attack namin,” said Bahio, whose team more than made up for wasting an early 15-point lead.
Barefield paced Blackwater with 19 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while rookie Dalph Panopio submitted 12 markers, five boards and two assists.
The Bossing absorbed their third straight loss for a 1-3 card.
