Larry Muyang last played for Phoenix in the PBA before making his way to the MPBL. Now the big man is set for a PBA return by way of Converge.
Larry Muyang is set to make his PBA comeback as the Converge FiberXers look to bounce back when they battle the Terrafirma Dyip in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Match is set at 5:15 p.m. at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The FiberXers (1-1) aim to regain their winning form after falling to TNT, 110-103, in a high-scoring affair out of town last time out.
Despite the loss, Converge’s young core showed promise — Alec Stockton and Justin Arana each scored 19 points each, Justine Baltazar and Schonny Winston chipped in 17 apiece, while rookie Juan Gomez de Liaño added 14.
Now, all eyes are on Muyang, who is expected to bolster Converge’s frontline.
The former Phoenix big man last played in the MPBL with the Pampanga Giant Lanterns, where he rediscovered his dominant touch. Pampanga recently ended its three-peat bid after falling to Caloocan in the quarterfinals.
Meanwhile, Terrafirma (1-1) is riding high after a 97-91 upset of NLEX and will look to sustain momentum behind Jerrick Ahanmisi and Paolo Hernandez as well as that game's hero and rookie JM Bravo.
Converge, however, hopes that Muyang’s return will give them the extra push to get back on track and move above .500.
