Rain or Shine jumpstarted Gabe Norwood’s farewell tour with a thrilling come-from-behind win over Meralco, 96-95, in overtime in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Montalban Saturday, Oct. 11.
The Elasto Painters drew a big game from Caelan Tiongson (23-10) to keep the former champ Bolts in the losers' column.
Norwood, who announced that he will retire at the end of the conference in a social media post two days ago, scored the tip-in that knotted the count at 90-all and forced the extension.

Action resumes for Rain or Shine when it squares off with reigning titleholder San Miguel on Oct. 19.
