The TNT Tropang 5G are readying themselves for their PBA Season 50 campaign by testing their mettle in the Abu Dhabi International Championship.
TNT is set to compete in the Abu Dhabi International Championship before plunging into action in the PBA Season 50.
The pocket tournament, which would test the Tropang 5G’s readiness for the league's golden year, is scheduled from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5.
There, TNT will face powerhouse Al Riyadi, the 2024 Basketball Champions League champion.

It’s not clear, though, if Lebanon star Wael Arakji will lace up for Al Riyadi owing to an injury that sidelined him in the recent FIBA Asia Cup in Saudi Arabia.
The Tropang Giga will also lock horns with Sharjah and Al Dhafra in the group stage at the Al Jazira Indoor Arena.

TNT enjoyed a well-deserved rest after an intense season that saw it lord over the Governors’ and Commissioner’s Cups, respectively.
Despite being hounded by injuries, the Tropang Giga made the Finals in the season-ending Philippine Cup, but ultimately fell short of a PBA Grand Slam, no thanks to San Miguel.
