Juan Gomez de Liaño is officially a Converge FiberXer.
Gomez de Liaño and the FiberXers agreed to a three-year deal on Saturday, Sept. 13. Marvin Espiritu, who represents Gomez de Liaño, confirmed the development to One Sports.

After making stops in Lithuania, Japan, and South Korea, Gomez de Liaño returned to the country to join the PBA Season 50 Draft.
As expected, the former UP Fighting Maroon was an early first rounder as Converge tabbed him with the second overall pick.
Converge got the pick after giving away Bryan Santos and the no. 8 pick of the same Draft to Phoenix.
In a previous interview, Gomez de Liaño said he couldn’t wait to join Converge’s young core featuring Alec Stockton, Schonny Winston, Justin Arana, and Justine Baltazar.
The goal. according to him, is to help the FiberXers win the franchise’s championship.
“I love their plan for me. We’re on the same page. My goal is to win a championship. I can’t wait to represent Converge,” he said.
