Without a contract in the PBA, Terrence Romeo found himself back in 3x3 ground as he joined Manila Melmac.
Terrence Romeo isn’t going anywhere.
However, he is no longer strutting his wares in the PBA as he found a new home in Manila Melmac.
Back in 3x3 after 10 years, the former Terrafirma Dyip reinforces the team that is competing in the FIBA 3x3 Manila Challenger slated September 20 and 21 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
He joins seasoned 3x3 cager Mac Tallo, Abdul Sawat, and Henry Iloka in the team coached by former PBA ace Chico Lanete.
Melmac Sports announced the signing of Romeo, who played for Manila West a decade ago, on social media Wednesday, September 10.
“Terrence Romeo is Back in 3x3 with Manila Melmac! After a decade away from 3x3, Terrence Romeo is heeding the call to play for flag and country once again,” the post read.
Three months ago, uncertainty surrounded Romeo’s stint with the PBA.
His contract with the Dyip expired in August, Romeo mulled over taking his talents overseas if the PBA was no longer a viable option.

Now he found himself back in 3x3 ground for a team gunning for a slot in the Macau Masters in October.

Like most sportswriters, Jan Ballesteros once dreamed of becoming a professional hooper. But he learned the hard way that it’s not for everyone.
He continues to be involved in the sport he loves, but this time as a member of the PBA Press Corps. Aside from primarily covering the PBA, he is also assigned to cover Gilas Pilipinas.
