This won’t be the first time the perennial title contenders will play in front of the Filipino fans in Dubai.
Six years ago, the Beermen and the Gin Kings played the NLEX at the same arena, with the June Mar Fajardo-led squad emerging with a 98-94 win over the Road Warriors. The Gin Kings weren't as lucky, losing to NLEX in overtime.
San Miguel and Ginebra didn’t square off against each other, however.
