The changes continue for Magnolia.

The Hotshots announced Friday, Aug. 15, the signing of free agent Paolo Taha ahead of the 50th season of the PBA.

Taha is the latest personnel change for Magnolia that began with the appointment of new coach LA Tenorio.

Tenorio replaced Chito Victolero, who served as chief tactician for nine years and steered the team to one title in that span.

Jason Webb also ascended to the team governor position after long-time official Rene Pardo called time on his career.

Before finding his way to the Hotshots, Taha had seven years of futility with the NorthPort Batang Pier.

The 34-year-old Taha has also played for Ginebra as a third-string guard and helped the team claim the 2017 PBA Governors Cup title.

Now, the 29th overall pick in the 2014 Draft is expected to bring all these experiences to the Hotshots, who are raring to finally win another chip after their Governors’ Cup conquest in 2018.

Meanwhile, Magnolia also extended the contracts of Joseph Eriobu, Russel Escoto and Peter Alfaro since the team first convened under new leadership earlier this week.
