TNT refused to give up on its Grand Slam aspiration as it stays alive in Game 5 of its PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals showdown with San Miguel.

TNT got a new lease on life after derailing San Miguel, 86-78, in Game 5 of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Wednesday, July 23.

The Tropang 5G thus held on to their Grand Slam dream, staving off elimination as they cut their deficit in the best-of-seven series to 2-3.

TNT will stand its ground against the Beermen anew in Game 6 set Friday, July 25, at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
