Despite the rainy weather, the PBA will push through with Game 5 of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals between San Miguel and TNT on Wednesday, July 23.

Game time is set at 7:30 p.m. at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, whose local government declared a state of calamity Tuesday, on the heels of severe flooding brought about by the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by tropical cyclones.

"TULOY ang LARO MAMAYA!" the league wrote on its official Facebook page Wednesday noon.

San Miguel leads the championship series, 3-1, and is one win away from claiming championship no. 30.

But despite their key players being stricken by injuries, the Tropang 5G are hell-bent on extending the best-of-seven series and keep the Grand Slam drive alive.

The game will be aired on PBA Rush, RPTV, and the Pilipinas Live app.
