San Miguel superstar June Mar Fajardo’s dominance in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup is validated with a record-extending 12th BPC trophy.
June Mar Fajardo reminded everyone he is still king of the All-Filipino conference.
This after Fajardo was hailed Best Player of the Conference for a record-extending 12th time in a brief awarding ushering in Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay Sunday, July 20.
Still at the top of his game at 35, the San Miguel behemoth bested teammate Cjay Perez, NLEX’s Robert Bolick, Magnolia big Zavier Lucero and Jason Perkins of Phoenix for the award.

Though playing hurt recently, the 6-foot-10 slotman normed 16.0 points, a league-best 13.95 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 blocks at the end of the Beermen's grueling seven-game semifinal series against the Gin Kings.
Just days ago, the eight-time Most Valuable Player asserted his dominance after pouring 33 points and 11 rebounds in SMB's 108-88 win over the Tropang 5G in Game 3.

This is the Pinamungajan, Cebu native’s second BPC plum this season, making him a strong candidate for a record-extending ninth MVP nod.
