Defending champion Meralco Bolts ended their slump in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup.
It took Meralco three straight losses to finally figure things out as it slipped past NorthPort, 105-104, in the nightcap of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig Friday, May 9.
The Bolts thus hiked their record to 3-3, a win that sparked hope for the defending champion after a tumultuous start.

NorthPort dropped to 1-4.
Meralco will look to sustain this intensity as it takes on TNT on Sunday, May 11, at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate.
