Arvin Tolentino was at the forefront of the NorthPort Batang Pier's impressive showing in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
NorthPort star Arvin Tolentino emerged as Best Player of the Conference in a brief ceremony before Game 4 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup Finals Friday, March 21.
Tolentino bested TNT stalwart Calvin Oftana, 11-time winner June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel, NLEX sniper Robert Bolick and Converge rookie Jordan Heading for the award.

While leading the Batang Pier's resurgence in the mid-season tournament, Tolentino averaged 20.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.1 blocks.

With him and import Kadeem Jack in tow, NorthPort returned to the semifinals but faltered against a more experienced Ginebra in five games.
