Rain or Shine is playing with an all-Filipino lineup against Meralco in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.
Rain or Shine import Deon Thompson was in street clothes when the team took on Meralco in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner’s Cup on Sunday, Dec. 1.
It turned out, Thompson is still waiting for his papers to be cleared before he can finally suit up for the Elasto Painters, according to a report by Bea Escudero.
Thompson arrived on Wednesday, Nov. 27, when the conference officially unfurled. The 6-foot-8 reinforcement replaced Kenneth Kadji.

Apart from the reinforcement, the Elasto Painters also missed the services of Gian Mamuyac.
Mamuyac is out indefinitely after suffering a fractured right hand in a tuneup game against NorthPort last week.
