Once Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and the TNT Tropang Giga smelled blood, it was over.

Hollis-Jefferson continued his stellar play and the Tropang Giga are through to the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals thanks to a dominating 125-96 thwarting of NLEX in Game 4 of their quarterfinals series at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Tuesday, October 1.

The reigning Governors’ Cup Best Import tallied a double-double outing of 35 points and 11 rebounds, once again leading the charge as TNT took its title-retention bid to the next round.

The Tropang Giga rode the momentum they had in a 109-91 Game 3 win, closing out their sister team with yet another sensational outing.

They now await the winner of the Magnolia-Rain or Shine series, who will figure in a do-or-die Game 5 on Saturday at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.

Meanwhile, it was the end of the road for NLEX, who made another quarterfinals exit. The Road Warriors haven’t made the semis since the 2021 edition of the Governors’ Cup.
