Robert Bolick and Javee Mocon won a three-peat together with San Beda in the NCAA. Now they're set to reunite as part of the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA.
The prospect of reuniting with a former San Beda teammate excites NLEX star Robert Bolick.
This after the Road Warriors agreed to ship Ato Ular and a draft pick to the Phoenix Fuel Masters for forward Javee Mocon.
NLEX announced the development on social media, but the transaction has yet to be reflected on the PBA website.
NLEX also thanked Ato Ular for his contribution.
Together, Bolick and Mocon won three championships for the Red Lions in the NCAA.
“'Di ko nga alam bakit kinuha namin 'yun e,” Bolick told One Sports in jest.

Turning serious, Bolick admitted he was surprised with the development, but at the same time expressed excitement for the things to come.
“Masaya syempre kasi ang dami naming history, dami naming championship. Familiar face. Wala nang maraming ano, alam namin laro ng isa’t isa,” he added.
“Nagulat lang ako, 'pag gising may ganun palang nangyari.”

After leading San Beda to a three-peat, the duo entered the PBA Draft in 2018.
Now that they are going to see themselves wearing the same colors anew, Bolick is hopeful success will follow.
“Baka [mag-translate success dito sa PBA], 'di mo masabi. Pero iba na dito sa PBA e,” he said. “Pero at least familiarity, alam na namin laro ng isa’t isa. So excited.”
