One of Magnolia’s top defensive lynchpin is back at coach Chito Victolero’s disposal.

On Thursday, April 25, the PBA announced in its transactions page that Magnolia activated the former San Beda forward Rome Dela Rosa.

To give way for the returning bruiser, Hotshots guard Jio Jalalon was relegated to the injury reserve list.

In a previous chitchat with One Sports, Jalalon said he has been bothered by a recurring pain in his left hamstring.

Dela Rosa arrives as the Hotshots look to keep a four-game winning streak going in the final stretch of the PBA Season 48 Philippine Cup elimination round.

The 6-foot-3 forward will face a daunting task right away as Magnolia tackles unbeaten San Miguel on Friday, April 26 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
