Fans have been feeling nostalgic as San Miguel’s rookie and online sensation Kyt Jimenez has decided to cut his hair short after years of wearing his long locks in a ponytail.

“2017-2019 feels. ANGAS!,” said a YouTube user.

“Igop, Prime Kyt is back,” added a fan.

Before joining the Beermen, his YouTube fans have been witnesses to Kyt’s basketball career ever since he joined coach Mavrick Bautista’s “Mav's Phenomenal Basketball.”

And now that he has achieved his dream of playing in Asia's oldest professional basketball league, his supporters have been feeling sentimental seeing Kyt in his former hairstyle way back in 2017.

While he already let the San Miguel big man June Mar Fajardo cut his hair on their bet after being a champion in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals, it’s a different era for Kyt now with his long back hair style and short bangs.

Will this new look of Kyt be permanent? Will he bid goodbye to his long hair era forever?

“Comment niyo kung okay ba gupit natin, balik ba tayo ng long hair, or mag-try tayo ng ibang style ng gupit,” said Kyt.

We can’t wait to see the reaction of the Beermen once Kyt fully recovers from his arm injury.
