Soaring Falcons. Beermen. PBA champions.
The San Miguel Beermen seized their record-extending 29th title in the PBA, after beating the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots in Game Six of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals on Wednesday.
It was also a sweet reunion for Adamson Soaring Falcons Jericho Cruz, Don Trollano, and Rodney Brondial--who played together from UAAP Season 75 to 76.
Austria later went on to become a longtime tactician for the Beermen before ceding the position to Jorge Gallent.
Now, the three Falcons are PBA champions together.
Jericho Cruz was especially pivotal in Game 5 after erupting with 30 points, including eight triples.
It was all worth it for Rodney Brondial. It's not everyday you can boast of being a PBA champ.
Even more so for Don Trollano, who was shipped from the NLEX Road Warriors.
He made it all worth it, chipping in 10 points, four rebounds, and an assist in Game Six.
Kots Leo would be so proud of his boys.
