Introboys ba? The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots say hold my beer.

They figuratively held the San Miguel Beermen at bay to even up the best-of-seven series at two apiece.

Things started so well for the Beermen, as June Mar Fajardo turned prophet and CJ Perez picked up his Best Player of the Conference Award.

But the Hotshots decided to stick to the one thing that has worked for them so far.

 Defense.

And a lot of scrappy hustle.

Magnolia seems to get the win when they hold opponents to below 100 points.

Oh, and having one Paul Lee.

Leave it to the Leethal Weapon to deliver with ice running in his veins.

So no BPC award? No Best Import award? It's all good.

The Hotshots are keeping their eye on the prize.
