The youth revolution continues for the Elasto Painters.
Rain or Shine Elasto Painters affirmed their commitment to keep their youth revolution humming for the years to come.
The Elasto Painters on Wednesday announced they signed Santi Santillan and Anton Asistio to separate extensions.
Asistio is on board for at least two more years, while Santillan signed a new three-year contract.
This came on the heels of a PBA Commissioner’s Cup campaign that saw the Elasto Painters start slow, but string together victories to make the playoffs.
With import Demetrus Treadwell in tow, Rain or Shine went on a six-game winning streak before bowing to the second-seed San Miguel Beermen in the quarterfinals.
Santillan and Asistio proved instrumental in that run, with the former averaging 11.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 12 games for the Elasto Painters.
Asistio, on the other hand, saw limited minutes but still normed 2.7 points and 1.0 assists.
