We wouldn’t be surprised to see the younger Tenorio making a name for himself in Philippine basketball someday.
A kid wearing a Jamie Malonzo jersey no. 3 turned heads in the Batang PBA 3x3 on Sunday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
He’s got everything: the handles, footwork, and the accuracy. The only thing he probably needs is an actual Tenorio jersey.
Meet Lucas Tenorio, the son of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel star LA.

The younger Tenorio is fittingly playing for his dad’s team in the Batang PBA, and his game is leaving fans and fellow players in awe.
They’re no longer surpised, though. After all, the many-time PBA champion’s blood is coursing through his veins.
Look:
The Tenorio patriarch is currently battling colon cancer, which has put a pause to his storied basketball career.
He has been undergoing chemotherapy in Singapore, the most recent of which he was accompanied by former Ateneo Blue Eagles teammates Enrico Villanueva and Paolo Bugia.
But like a true warrior, Tenorio is already eyeing a return to the basketball court when the Philippine Cup unfurls in October.
