Former PBA player Eliud "Eloy" Poligrates was shot in Cebu City early morning on Tuesday.
According to a report by The Freeman, the incident took place at dawn in Sitio Micabaja, Barangay Duljo Fatima.
The former PBA pro appears to be in stable condition, although he suffered a shoulder wound as a result of the incident.
Poligrates was drafted 27th overall in the 2013 PBA draft by the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters, now called the TNT Tropang Giga.
He bounced around in the league, playing for teams like the Air21 Express and Kia Carnival.
Poligrates also played in the PBA D-League, where he led the Cafe France Bakers to its first title during the 2015 PBA D-League Foundation Cup.
