Hold your horses, hoops fans.
As far as top basketball agent Danny Espiritu is concerned, PBA veterans Arwind Santos and Alex Cabagnot are not playing for Pampanga Giant Lanterns in the MPBL.
This was what Espiritu implied when One Sports reached out to him after the Giant Lanters listed both players as part of their 25-man roster.
The post went viral, garnering almost 3000 reactions on Facebook as of this writing.
"Sila naglagay nun. Pero pano kami naka-line up, wala naman kami kontrata?" the long time agent told One Sports via text message.
Right now, Santos and Cabagnot have live contracts with NorthPort Batang Pier and Terrafirma Dyip, respectively.
Also in the said lineup are former PBA star Marc Pingris, Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters rising star Encho Serrano, and Gilas Pilipinas mainstay Justine Baltazar.
For now, fans will have to settle with this TikTok video featuring Santos, Serrano, and Baltazar.
The video, uploaded by Serrano, got the former PBA MVP nodding.
"'Yun pinost mo na rin," Santos commented on the social media post, coupled with smiling emojis. "Next time ulit."
Will the next time see them sharing the court? That remains to be seen.
