From the Olympic stage to the casual street, Francis Libiran is keeping the fire of Paris 2024 alive.

The celebrated designer behind Team Philippines’ official Barong Tagalog at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony has now unveiled the Sinag Shirt—a casual version that lets every Filipino carry the same pride as the athletes who competed in 2024.

Libiran said the shirt embodies “the spirit of national pride with a modern, everyday twist.” Just like the barong that turned heads in Paris, the design carries deep symbolism: the flag’s red, blue, and white accented by golden sun rays flowing diagonally across the back, representing unity, progress, and resilience.

At the Olympics, Filipino athletes marched with Libiran’s “Sinag” barong—crafted from piña-jusi and accented with a detachable silk organdy sling embroidered with Pintados-inspired warrior motifs.

Now, Libiran transforms that Olympic moment into something wearable beyond the arena. Retailing at P2,800, the Sinag Shirt is available in sizes XS to XL via his official website and social media pages, giving fans a chance to wear the same pride their Olympians carried in Paris.

Because national pride isn’t just for the podium—it’s something worth wearing every day.
