Paralympic Games: Three-time Paralympian Jerrold Mangliwan ends Paris 2024 journey after 100m race

That's three Paralympic Games achieved for the 44-year-old Jerrold Mangliwan.

The Philippine racer ended his Paris 2024 journey, after finishing 12th overall in the men's 100m - T52 heats.

He clocked in at 19.44 seconds, improving on his Tokyo 2020 result of 20.08 and Rio 2016 race of 20.04.

However, it was not enough to secure a spot in the final. Mangliwan's personal best is 18.65, while his season best is 19.16.

His best performance in Paris 2024 was during the men's 400m - T52, securing a spot in the final by being the seventh fastest in the heats. He finished the medal round in eighth place.
