Top 4 Early Season NBA Kicks

Top 4 Early Season NBA Kicks
Nike/Official Release

On and off the court, players need to wear their best pair as if they are walking down the red carpet.

Sneakerheads, meanwhile, feast their eyes on the dopest kicks their favorite cagers sport season after season. They would cop the best pairs, even with their savings on the line.

We list down some of the best so far in the 2022-2023 season. Forgive us if we missed your favorite pair.

LeBron 20 “The Debut”

This black-and-white, Oreo-esque pair is an ode to LeBron James’ rookie year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his debut, he lived up to, if not exceeded, expectations of being the “Chosen One” heading into the 2003 Draft.

Between then and now, not much has changed save for his team and hairline. Fans, though, hope this also translates to Ws as The King chases that fifth ring and the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record for most career points.

Zion 2 “Purple Crimson”

New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson never got to play in his first signature sneaker with the Jordan brand.

But after 18 months away from the game, Williamson finally wore his Zion 2 “Purple Crimson” on opening night and steered the Pels to an emphatic win against the Bulls.

KD 15 “Aunt Pearl”

Kevin Durant’s 15th signature shoe is dope on many fronts, but the story behind the colorway almost always tugs at the heartstrings.

Since KD4, Nike has released a pink-based colorway for every Durant signature kicks to honor his late Aunt Pearl, who succumbed to cancer in 2000.

She played an integral role in the Nets star’s development as a player and person.

Kobe 4 Prelude

You can never go wrong with Kobes. Enough said.
