After launching his signature collection for an athleisure brand, Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson is already thinking of his next venture. Gotta continue the grind, as they say these days.
While he already has several endorsement deals, it seems like the high-scoring fireball wants to expand his personal brand and give himself more media mileage.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, Clarkson said he needs to guest on a podcast.
While it's unclear why he wants to do so, we're betting our money that he wants to promote his latest line with Lululemon. He's been posting about it for several days now, and guesting on a podcast wouldn't hurt.
Luckily for him, many of his fellow NBA players have podcasts, including Paul George, Draymond Green, Patrick Beverley, and Austin Rivers, among others. He could also probably link up with former NBA guys like Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, and JJ Redick. They too have podcasts. Pretty popular ones at that. After all, the NBA is a brotherhood.
Here's another suggestion: Why not start his own podcast? Clarkson isn't the most outspoken, he's more of a chill dude who likes to keep to his own, but if he's spreading his personal brand, a podcast isn't a bad idea. For starters, 73847398470 Filipinos will definitely subscribe. They always like to hear what JC has to say.
After his stint with Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup, JC has shifted his focus to the upcoming NBA season, as he tries to help lift the Jazz to a better showing after missing out on the previous postseason.
The 31-year-old Clarkson has barely had rest, but luckily for him, he's not alone. Four of his teammates, Lauri Markkanen (Finland) Walker Kessler (USA), Kelly Olynyk (Canada), and Simone Fontecchio (Italy) also suited up in the FIBA World Cup. Maybe they can all share the ice bath and talk about their experiences.
That's a podcast episode right there.
