A few things in life are better than watching basketball with friends.
Basketball-loving Filipinos converged in Makati to enjoy Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Heat on Saturday.
Well, the Heat supporters may not have exactly loved the result of the game that saw them go down 3-1, but they at least had chicken wings, burgers, and drinks to go with their morning serving of basketball in Cignal TV’s NBA Finals watch party, held in a sports bar & restaurant in Makati.
Hoops junkies who were present also got to churn out their NBA knowledge in the trivia games on the way to win NBA goodies.
“I hope next time we get to have more of these [watch parties] throughout the season, not just the NBA Finals,” said Josh Buenaventura of Cignal TV’s Channel and Content Marketing team.
Perhaps Nuggets fans, as much as they would love Nikola Jokic and company to grab the title quickly, should root for the Heat to extend the series—so we could get more viewing parties.
