NBA fans cook LeBron James, Joel Embiid, Marcus Smart as league set to try anti-flopping rule

The NBA is pondering implementing an anti-flopping rule that will definitely impact the way some players play.

According to a report from The Athletic's Shams Charania, a flop would result in a technical foul, similar to the current rule followed in FIBA-sanctioned games. The Association will reportedly do a trial run in the upcoming Summer League in July.

Clearly, nobody likes flopping. Some hoopers do this to get favorable calls, but blatant flops take away the beauty of the game.

If the said rule is implemented next season, several notorious floppers will definitely take a hit.
