In an Instagram post, Rivero shared he went freediving with his girlfriend, actress Andrea Brillantes.
Now their trip could double as training for Brillantes, who was rumored to play the lead in the upcoming new adaptation of fantasy-drama "Dyesebel."
As for the former UAAP star, Rivero has yet to reveal his next basketball career move.
Rivero had an eventful 2022, first winning the UAAP Season 84 men's basketball title in a historic run with the UP Fighting Maroons.
He next signed with Taiwan's Taoyuan Pilots but was cut last November even before the P.League+ season started.
The Taoyuan Pilots said they had to let go of Rivero because of an apparent leg injury.
The two-time UAAP champion has also yet to bare the status of the said injury, and everyone is eagerly awaiting where he will play next.
