Whatever it is, Nick Young is suiting up for Charles Tiu's squad in a Dubai tournament.
Is Nick Young PBA-bound?
The NBA veteran posted this on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, hinting at a possible PBA stint.
Recall that coach Charles Tiu earlier clarified that the 12-year NBA veteran will suit up for Strong Group Realty in the 32nd Dubai International Basketball Championship.
Strong Group, which takes over for Mighty Sports in the aforementioned league, will have Tiu at the helm.
Swaggy P won’t be the first NBA veteran to be handled by the Benilde mentor.
Tiu also had the chance to have at his disposal former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom, who reinforced Mighty Sports in the 2019 edition of the tournament.
Before playing for Mighty Sports, Odom had a tumultuous couple of years fighting personal issues and recovering from a heart failure in 2015.
But Young, known for his flair aside from his basketball skills, would be a treat for the PBA fans. That is if he will indeed head to Asia's first play-for-play league after a stint with Strong Group Realty.
In the meantime, fans should cheer him on as he represents the Philippine ballclub in the Dubai tilt, which will kick off on January 27.
