Washington Wizards big man Alex Sarr will miss Saturday's Rising Stars game in Inglewood, Calif., with a hamstring strain.

The team announced Friday morning that Sarr will be sidelined through the All-Star break.

Sarr, 20, will join Wizards teammates Kyshawn George, Tre Johnson and Bub Carrington in Southern California for this weekend's festivities.

The NBA announced Friday that Carrington will replace Sarr on Team T-Mac in the Rising Stars game, while Utah Jazz forward Ace Bailey will take the place of the injured Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks.

Flagg is unable to participate for Team Melo because of a left midfoot sprain.

Sarr did not play in Wednesday's 138-113 loss at Cleveland and is looking at a recovery time of two weeks, the team said.
