Just hours after Utah reportedly traded for Jaren Jackson Jr., Isaiah Collier stole the show to help the Jazz turn back the undermanned Indiana Pacers.
Everybody eats when Isaiah Collier is feeding.
The Jazz point guard put on a show, dishing out a career-high 22 assists to lead a 131-122 win over the Indiana Pacers that snapped the Jazz's six-game losing skid on Wednesday, February 4 (PH time).
Collier also finished with 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals and played all 48 minutes in a scintillating performance just hours after Utah reportedly traded for former defensive Player of the Year winner Jaren Jackson Jr.
All of the seven players the Jazz fielded scored in double digits led by Lauri Markkanen’s 27 points and Brice Sensabaugh adding 20 and rookie Ace Bailey logging 19.
For the Pacers, Jarace Walker, Quenton Jackson, and Amen Thompson each scored 24 points, but Indiana, missing Pascal Siakam (rest), Andrew Nembhard (back), and T.J. McConnell (leg), couldn’t match Utah’s offensive firepower and fell to 13-38.
Utah, now 16-35, will aim for back-to-back wins as they head to Atlanta to face the Hawks (24-27), while Indiana begins a six-game road trip starting in Milwaukee against the Bucks (18-29).
