Tickets for Philippine Women’s Open Finals already sold out

Interest is at an all-time high for the historic Philippine Women’s Open especially with hometown bet Alex Eala potentially seeing action.

Eala, currently WTA no. 49, has a wild card to play in the main draw of both the singles and doubles tournament.

According to organizers, tickets for the final day of the tournament on Saturday, January 31, are already sold out while premium passes for January 30 are also fully consumed, with only the standard pass still available for purchase online.

 

 

Tickets for the qualifying matches happening on January 24 and 25, and the main draw matches from January 26 to 29 are still available.

While excitement has amped up surrounding Eala’s possible participation, the status of the former Rafa Nadal Academy scholar playing is still up in the air.

This as Eala also has a qualifying slot in the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, with qualifiers starting as early as January 31.

The Abu Dhabi Open, a WTA 500 tournament, will feature big names like defending champion Belinda Bencic, Fil-Canadian Leylah Fernandez, and Paula Badosa.

In the qualifying draw, Eala is listed Hailey Baptiste, Cristina Bucsa, Magda Linette, and Janice Tjen.
