Pilipinas Live will stream the historic Philippine Women’s Open on its platforms.

Philippine tennis will be thrust onto the spotlight this coming January 26 to 31 with the historic WTA 125 Philippine Women’s Open set to be streamed on Pilipinas Live.

Available on all kinds of devices, fans can stay tuned to the action wherever they are as action unfolds at the historic Rizal Memorial Tennis Center at the heart of Manila, with the qualifying matches beginning over the weekend.

While the status of local ace and WTA world no. 49 Alex Eala is uncertain due to possible schedule conflicts, the Philippines will have ample bets to root for with main draw wild card Tennielle Madis. Meanwhile, UST’s Kaye Emana earned her spot to play in the qualifying draw.

Filipino-Australian Lizette Cabrera will also be making a homecoming to Manila as she plays in the qualifying matches, hoping to get into the main tournament.

In the main draw, names on the preliminary list include Paris 2024 Olympics silver medalist Donna Vekic and WTA world no. 42 Tatjana Maria.

Argentina’s Solana Sierra is also among ranked players on the list, giving the Philippines more than enough players for high-quality tennis as the country hosts its first-ever WTA event.
