Spurs get back at Wolves in a big way.

San Antonio spoiled a career-high 55 points from Anthony Edwards, picking up a huge 126-123 win over Minnesota on Sunday (PH time) at the Frost Bank Center.

The Spurs also avenged a one-points to the Timberwolves earlier this week, a game where Edwards hit the go-ahead basket for Minnesota.

This time though, the Spurs made sure of the result as they led by as many as 25 points.

Still, Edwards and the Timberwolves refused to go down quietly, even briefly taking the lead in the fourth quarter before San Antonio had to correct its course.

Victor Wembanyama posted 39 points to lead the Spurs, while De’Aaron Fox had 25 points in support.

Keldon Johnson added another 20 as the Spurs improved to 29-13 on the season.

Aside from Edwards’ 55 points, Minnesota also got 23 from Jaden McDaniels but the loss put the Wolves down to 27-16.
