The Japan B.League is casting a wider net.

The league announced it secured broadcast agreements with seven partners across five countries and regions outside Japan.

That means they are bringing selected B1 League games to as many as 38 countries and regions worldwide—the most extensive international distribution in the organization's history.

The Philippines is among the key markets carrying B.League action, with Pilipinas Live, One Sports, and OneSports+ airing selected games this season.

Interest in the league has surged locally, fueled by the presence of Filipino standouts Kai Sotto (Koshigaya Alphas), Dwight Ramos (Levanga Hokkaido), Ray Parks Jr. (Osaka Evessa), Kiefer Ravena (Yokohama B-Corsairs), Francis Lopez (Fighting Eagles Nagoya), and AJ Edu (Gunma Crane Thunders).

The league has steadily pushed its international presence in recent years, particularly in Asia, as its clubs continue to compete in regional tournaments such as the East Asia Super League (EASL) and the FIBA Basketball Champions League Asia (BCL Asia).

B.LEAGUE has also seen an uptick in international talent, with players bringing experience from leagues such as the NBA and EuroLeague, contributing to rising overseas interest in Japanese professional basketball.

Looking ahead, the 2026 All-Star Weekend, set for January 16–18 in Nagasaki, will debut an Asia Cross Tournament alongside the traditional skills challenges and All-Star Game.
