Utah put on a beat the Spurs couldn’t match.
The Jazz snapped San Antonio’s eight-game winning streak on Sunday (PH time), taking the 127-114 victory on the road at the Frost Bank Center.
Utah took control in the middle of the second quarter and did not trail again, leading by as many as 17 points.
Lauri Markkanen led the way with 29 points, while Keyonte George was good for 28 as the Jazz improved to 12-19 for the season.
Meanwhile, San Antonio got 32 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks from Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs win streak allowed them to climb to no. 2 in the West, but this loss cools them down a bit for a 23-8 mark.
