Denver survived a brutal contest against Minnesota, coming away with a tough 142-138 overtime win on Friday (PH time) at the Ball Arena.
The Nuggets needed to hold strong after they lost a 16-point lead and with the Timberwolves going up by nine in the early goings of overtime.
Nikola Jokic was incredible for Denver, dropping 56 points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists. Joker also scored 18 points in overtime, an NBA record.
Jamay Murray also had a big game for the Nuggets, making nine triples on his way to 35 points. Denver improved to 22-8 with the win.
Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards had 44 points for Minnesota but was ejected in overtime due to technical fouls.
Julie Randle had 32 for the Timberwolves, who dropped to 20-11.
