Rockets take flight.
Houston hardly broke a sweat in a dominant NBA Christmas win against the Los Angeles Lakers, taking the 119-96 victory on Friday (PH time) at the Crypto.com Arena.
The Rockets led by as many as 24 points, and really put the game out of reach against the struggling Lakers.
Amen Thompson led the charge with 26 points as the Rockets improved to 18-10 for the season.
Kevin Durant added 25 points, while Jabari Smith Jr. finished with 16.
Luka Doncic paced the Lakers with 25 points but had six turnovers in his return to action after missing the previous Suns game due to injury.
LeBron James had 18 points, while Austin Reaves managed 12 before not coming out for the second half also due to injury.
Los Angeles dropped to 19-10 with three straight losses.
