New York leaned on Jalen Brunson as the NBA Cup champions turned back the Miami Heat, 132-125, on Monday (PH time) at the Madison Square Garden.
Brunson fired a season-high 47 points, leading the Knicks back to the win column and a 20-8 record for solo second in the East.
Miami led by 10 in the first half, but it was all New York in the second as the Knicks cruised to victory.
After Brunson, Mikal Bridges added 24 points for the Knicks.
Meanwhile, the Heat got 28 points from Kel'el Ware. Miami dropped to 15-14 with the loss.
