Thunder demolish Suns for 16th straight win and NBA Cup semis appearance

The Oklahoma City Thunder storm into Las Vegas in dominant fashion.

OKC blasted the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Cup quarterfinals, taking a commanding 138-89 win on Thursday (PH time).

The Thunder improved to 24-1, now on a franchise record 16-game winning streak.

 

 

In an incredible show of force, the defending NBA champions led by as many as 53 points, with MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 28 points to pace the team.

Chet Holmgren added 24 points for the Thunder, while Jalen Williams was good for 15 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Dillon Brooks had 16 points for the Suns, as Phoenix dropped to 14-11 with the loss.
