Jokic, Nuggets complete big comeback to frustrate Hawks

Denver showed incredible resilience on Saturday (PH time), completing a comeback road win against the Atlanta Hawks, 134-133, at the State Farm Arena.

The Nuggets came back from a 23-point deficit in the first half, then led by as many as 11 before holding on for the close victory.

Nikola Jokic went for 40 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists, with 30 points coming in the second half.

Jamal Murray added 23 points as Denver improved to 16-6.

 

 

Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the Hawks with 30 points, with Kristaps Porzingis adding 25.

Jalen Johnson had 21 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists, but Atlanta dropped to 13-11 with a third-straight loss.
