Stephen Loman is exiting ONE Championship after just four fights in just as many years. He compiled a 3-1 record in the Singapore-based promotion.
Filipino fighter Stephen Loman is headed to another direction following his exit from ONE Championship, as announced by the Singapore-based promotion on Tuesday.
Loman has a 16-3 professional record, but the 30-year-old was seldom booked in ONE Championship, where he only fought for four times in just as many years — ekeing out a 3-1 slate in that time.
He was most recently pitted against former bantamweight champion John Lineker, where he lost by unanimous decision.
However, that Lineker was way back last September 29, 2023 — more than two years ago.
ONE Championship said that the decision was mutual between both parties.
“Stephen Loman has been a consummate professional throughout his time with ONE Championship, and we are grateful for the exciting fights and memorable performances he delivered to our fans around the world,” they said.
“After discussions with Stephen and his team, we have mutually agreed to part ways at this time. We deeply appreciate his professionalism, dedication, and the impact he made inside the Circle. We wish Stephen nothing but continued success in his future endeavors.”
Loman had jumped ship to join ONE Championship from BRAVE CF in 2021.
The 30-year-old is teammates with the likes of Joshua Pacio, Eduard Folayang, and Kevin Belingon in Lions Nation MMA, formerly of Team Lakay.
