It’s still relatively early in the NBA season, but Minnesota scored what could be a crucial win down the line against a fellow Western Conference playoff contender.

The Timberwolves leaned on Anthony Edwards for a 125-112 win over the San Antonio Spurs Monday (PH time) at the Target Center.

After the Spurs controlled most of the game, Minnesota dominated the fourth, 36-19, to cruise to victory.

Edwards got 32 points with six assists, pushing the Wolves to 12-8 in the West standings.

Julius Randle added 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Donte DiVincenzo had 18 for the Timberwolves.

San Antonio got 25 points from De'Aaron Fox, but the Spurs dropped to 13-6 with the loss.
